This contract covers the procurement of six units of machine-thread plugs, identified by NSN/Part Number 5365-01-507-8785, under solicitation SPE4A0-26-T-2002 issued by the Department of Defense's Aviation Supply Chain ESOC BUYS. Delivery is required within five days, with the contract governed by specific quality and packaging standards outlined by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Key technical and quality requirements from the DLA master list are incorporated, including strict sampling procedures compliant with MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 standards, with zero tolerance for non-conformances unless otherwise specified. Physical identification and marking of bare items, as well as removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies, are mandated. A critical environmental stipulation prohibits the intentional addition or direct contact of mercury or mercury-containing compounds with any hardware or supplies unless exceptions apply, such as mercury used in functional components like batteries, fluorescent lamps, sensors, or weapon systems as specified by NAVSEA. Mercury-containing portable fluorescent lamps and instruments must have protective containment measures. Additionally, the contract imposes strict export controls on technical data subject to ITAR and EAR regulations, requiring contractors to have appropriate certifications, completed training, and official DLA approval for access. The points of contact and relevant web links provide further guidance on contract execution and compliance.
