Full Description

The Next Generation (NGEN) Radar Altimeter (RADALT) is a form, fit, replacement for the mission essential APN-194 RADALT which is obsolete and no longer manufactured. Any future Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) to the existing form factor is not possible due to end-of-life obsolescence notification from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) (dated 01APR2023).
The APN-194 is a low performing system with poor reliability which causes high maintenance hours, increased operating costs, and affects readiness in the Fleet. Introduction of a new military grade NGEN RADALT will improve operational reliability, reduce maintenance cost, meet the requirements of the FAA in Title 14 CFR 91.220b and ensure all relevant Type / Model / Series (T/M/S)s remain Full Mission Capable (FMC).

T-6/T-34 Aircraft Maintenance and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS): Request for Proposal (RFP)
Solicitation # N0042126R1011
Solicitation N0042126R1011 is a Request for Proposal issued by the Naval Air Warfare Center Air Division for T-6 and T-34 Aircraft Maintenance and Contractor Logistics Support. This single-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract utilizes a mix of Firm Fixed Price and Cost-Reimbursement structures to cover organizational and intermediate levels of maintenance, aircraft preservation and depreservation, and the provision of Functional Check Flight and recovery pilots. Performance is centered at NAS Corpus Christi, NAS Whiting Field, and NAS Pensacola, with a primary period of performance beginning September 1, 2027. The scope includes material management, safe-for-flight certification, and adherence to strict aviation maintenance standards such as COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 and AS 9100C. The government will select a contractor based on best value using a tradeoff process, where past performance is weighted more heavily than price. Proposals must include detailed manning plans, corporate experience mapping, and a small business participation commitment. Following Amendment 0003, which addressed industry feedback and updated the Performance Work Statement and Technical Data Library, the proposal submission deadline has been extended to November 6, 2026. Submissions must follow rigorous formatting guidelines, including the use of searchable PDFs and unprotected Excel files for pricing summaries, with all deliverables managed through the Wide Area WorkFlow system.
