PNEUMATIC CONTROL VALVES The Air Force Test Center Specialized Contracting Division (AFTC/PZR) at Edwards Air Force Base is requesting interested vendors who can meet all the requirements for the items described in this request for information (RFI) to submit in writing a proposed part number and specification sheet for the requirement to purchase of three (3) globe vent valves for the low pressure liquid oxygen (LOX) systems and one (1) for the kerosene (RP) systems on test stand 2A. The valve will be delivered with three (3) complete rebuild kits for each valve (totaling 12 kits), which will sustain components through all test campaigns projected for Hydrocarbon Boost. The vendor will provide the components in compliance with the attached statement of work, specifications, and data sheets. The valves will enables four program test campaigns through 2021. To meet the mission requirement, the control valves must be in compliance with AFRL specifications: RQR 1004, for control valves, valve data sheets, and will be precision cleaned to level 300A. The valves are y-pattern globe valve, with a minimum flow coefficients, turndown ratios and a maximum full open to command full close actuation time, all of which are specified in supplied data sheets among other critical requirements. Further details on performance and interfaces can be found in the attached specifications, RQR 1004, for control and remote operated valves. There must be compatibility with existing hardware and technician skillsets on test stand 2A.
