AI Contract Overview
The Contractor is required to deliver nineteen new pop-up targets that match the exact form factor and size of the existing ATA PIT targets to ensure compatibility with current berms, all powered exclusively by batteries. Alongside the targets, the Contractor must supply a long-range wireless communications network capable of reliably operating across a minimum two-mile distance between the range tower and target areas, with networking components optionally solar or battery-powered. The system includes two control tablets for range tower operators and three hand-held controllers for maintenance staff, all battery-operated, running software that enables accurate hit scoring, background lighting control, simulated return gunfire modes, and real-time battery monitoring. Additionally, the Contractor must provide upgrade pathways to ensure full integration and interoperability between the new system and existing ATA pop-up targets and chassis already in inventory. Comprehensive training is required for Grand Bay Range personnel covering all aspects of daily operations, software use, battery and solar maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure sustained, independent system management.
