The contract requires the provision of nineteen new pop-up targets, complete with all necessary hardware, software, ancillary equipment, framing, and training. These targets must closely resemble the existing ATA "PIT" target design to fit seamlessly into current protected target berms, and all components must operate solely on battery power. Control devices consist of two tablet-style operator units and three handheld controllers for maintenance personnel, each battery-powered, integrated with control software capable of scoring hits accurately, managing lighting effects, simulating return gunfire, and reporting battery statuses in real time. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for providing upgrade options that ensure compatibility between existing ATA pop-up targets and chassis and the newly supplied system, including hardware and software enhancements. The contract also mandates comprehensive operations and maintenance training for Grand Bay Range personnel, covering routine system use, troubleshooting, battery and solar power upkeep, and software management. The procurement is designated as an 8a competed sources sought, with performance located at Fort Moore, Georgia, under the Department of Defense, with key contacts provided for further inquiries.
