The Air Force is seeking sources for a potential competitive 100% set aside for 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Women-Owned or Small Business concerns. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to obtain information on qualified and experienced contractors interested in providing proposals on purchase and installation of Postage Meter Machine/Mail Accounting System at the Official Mail Center at Grand Forks AFB, ND. IF ADEQUATE RESPONSES ARE NOT RECEIVED FROM THE ABOVE-MENTIONED CONCERNS, THE ACQUISITION MAY BE SOLICITED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT Provide and install a postage machine with (1) conveyer (1) USPS in-motion scale (1) electronic certified mail feature (1) machine with at least 200 letter per minute feature, with (1) monitor, (1) mixed mail feeder, (1) color control panel, (1) keyboard w/stand, and (1) 30 lb differential weighing, (1) report printer w/USB Cable, (1) remote label dispenser w/stand, (1) USB barcode scanner for departments and e-services (1) 149 lb platform scale with display (1) Ergonomic workstation w/risers and locking doors. It needs to also include mail account software with single mailing machine connection with 50' interface cable and software updates. Provide and install a mail accounting system with inbound tracking software, (2) wireless barcode scanners with portable signature capture scanner and holsters, (1) thermal label printer, and (1) signature pad with magnetic strip reader and include tracking and proof of delivery software with software updates Work to be performed will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333313 Office Machinery Manufacturing and the small business standard of 1,000 employees. The government reserves the right to set this acquisition aside for Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women-Owned or Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business firms based on the responses it receives. Once the determination has been made to either set-aside the acquisition or solicit on an unrestricted basis, it will be posted on this website. This request for information (RFI) notice is issued for planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Responses to this notice will assist the government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, or pay for any proposal preparation costs.
