Full Description

The 88th Communications Group (88CG) intends to award sole source to Emerson Network Power, Liebert Global Services, Inc., for the maintenance of Emerson/Liebert Power Distribution Units (PDUs) located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio 45433-7805. WPAFB currently has an installed base of Emerson/Liebert PDUs at various locations throughout the base that require both annual preventative maintenance and 24/7 emergency maintenance and repair. Due to the proprietary nature of the circuitry and software, only Emerson can provide the preventative and emergency maintenance and repair support required. This proposed procurement will be a sole source under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 811219. The small business size standard is: $19,000,000. The proposed source is Emerson Network Power, Liebert Services, Inc., 610 Exec Campus Dr., Westerville, Ohio 43082-9394. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, quotation or exception to the intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government if received by 3:00 PM Eastern on 6 December 2012. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Ms. Janet Miller has been appointed as Ombudsman. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
