This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 5000056450 with a closing of 2022-0-16 at 2:00 PM. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.Environment and Climate Change Canada has a requirement in support of the generators, switchgear and heat recovery systems located at the Eureka Weather Station, Nunavut. The period of the contract is from date of award for two (2) years plus two (2) additional one-year option periods.There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 - Security, Financial and Other Requirements, and Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, Bidders should refer to the Contract Security Program of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/esc-src/introduction-eng.html) website. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the “Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Canada–Chile Free Trade Agreement, the Canada–Colombia Free Trade Agreement, the Canada–Honduras Free Trade Agreement, the Canada–Korea Free Trade Agreement, the Canada–Panama Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, the Comprehensive Economic Free Trade Agreement (CETA), the World Trade Organization – Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement”.This procurement is subject to the Agreement Between the Inuit of the Nunavut Settlement Area and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada (the Nunavut Agreement).Socio-economic provisions are included under this solicitation, but it is not mandatory for Bidders to identify socio-economic benefits provisions to qualify for the resulting contract.Refer to the Inuit Benefits Plan (IBP) as outlined within the submission and evaluation requirements of the attached Request for Proposal.Bidders are requested to maximize Inuit employment, subcontracting and on-the-job training opportunities, and involve local, regional and Inuit businesses, in carrying out the work under the resulting contract.Environment and Climate Change Canada offers procurement services in both official languages.
