This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and no further written solicitation will be issued. This requirement is a BRAND NAME ONLY. The solicitation number FA8307-14-R-0083 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) DPN 20140721, and Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS) AFAC 2014-0421. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335999 and the small business size standard is 750. This procurement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Contracting Branch (AFLCMC/HNCK), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)-Lackland, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order to procure a quantity of 892 MYK-17 Power Supplies, Part # GPFC160-12G. SL Power Electronics is the Original Equipment Manufacturer. Required delivery date is NLT 30 Dec 2014. The part is currently obsolete, however the OEM has agreed to make one more production run if more than 500 were ordered. We are looking for the exact part #, not its replacement. Award will be made based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The Government reserves the right to make no award in the event it is advantageous.
