AI Contract Overview
The contract is for the procurement of a single power supply unit identified by NSN 6130015065866 and part number 14AH, to be delivered to Electric Boat Corporation in N Stonington, Connecticut, within five days of award with FOB Origin terms. The item must comply with stringent technical and quality standards outlined in the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, including mandatory shelf-life Type I designation with a non-extendable 12-month lifespan, requiring a Safety Data Sheet per FED-STD-313. Packaging must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E with preservation method 41 (cleaning and drying), and marking must conform to MIL-STD-129 with special code 32 indicating Type I shelf life; physical bare item marking is required. Palletization follows DLA’s RP001 requirements, and parcel post is prohibited—shipment must occur via the fastest traceable means. Sampling for acceptance must follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1 with a zero-defect tolerance unless otherwise specified, and all attributes must be verified at corresponding acceptance quality levels. The supply must be free of intentionally added mercury or mercury-containing compounds except for approved uses in batteries, fluorescent lights, sensors, weapon systems, or NAVSEA-specified reagents; portable fluorescent lamps and instruments with mercury must include a secondary containment per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Cybersecurity compliance requires CMMC Level 2 self-assessment and adherence to NIST SP 800-171 DOD assessment requirements, with safeguarding of covered defense information mandated under FAR clauses 52.240-93 and 252.204-7012. Hazardous communication standards apply, requiring proper labeling and SDS documentation under 29 CFR 1910.1200, and restrictions on hexavalent chromium and toxic materials are in effect. The contractor must comply with employment eligibility verification, equal opportunity for workers with disabilities, and anti-human trafficking requirements. Payment must be processed via Wide Area WorkFlow, and the contractor is required to provide a Unique Entity ID and CAGE code. Acceptance occurs at the destination by the government, with no price specified in the contract line item, though historical pricing suggests an expected value near $1,110.97. The solic
