Powerhouse Window Replacement Project

The City of Kingman Tourism Department has issued Invitation for Bid 2026-IFB-011 for the Powerhouse Window Replacement Project. This procurement seeks a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove existing windows and install new Marvin wood windows with factory-applied extruded aluminum exterior cladding at the Powerhouse Visitors Center. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of existing windows and associated construction materials, such as drywall, framing studs, and sealants, as well as the restoration of any disturbed interior or exterior finishes to match existing conditions. All installations must adhere to the manufacturer's published requirements, and the contractor is responsible for the removal of all construction debris from the site. Bidders must hold a minimum B-2 commercial license from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and provide a qualification statement. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder based on total cost and the ability to meet the delivery deadline of January 31, 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically via the OpenGov portal by September 23, 2026, at 6:00 pm Arizona Time. Required documentation includes a signed IFB signature page, an IRS W-9 form, and a completed vendor application. Bid pricing must remain firm for at least 90 days from the opening date, and no substitutions or alterations to the specified materials will be accepted. Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Arizonans with Disabilities Act of 1992 is mandatory.
