The solicitation contains an option to extend the terms of the contract for three additional one-year periods. This procurement is for 57 Price Evaluation List (PEL) of items and an additional 1,555 items may be added on a post award basis via Add/Delete Clause. This acquisition is being processed under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12. Offers will be evaluated under the streamlined procedures of FAR Subpart 12.6. This acquisition is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. Delivery is as follows: 280 days This solicitation contains Surge and Sustainment (S & S) clauses: DLAD 52.217-9006/9007/9008/9009/9010 Anticipated award date: 08/31/2016 The Government intends to award one or more contracts resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer represents the best value to the Government, price and past performance considered. This contract action is for supplies which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data, therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only one or a limited number of sources. The applicable statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C.2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, available from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
