The Government proposes to acquire a quantity of 2 60" Boom Lift Articulating, LSN: 3990-LN0020698, Part Number: Z-62/40/4WD with deliveries to BLDG 159 R4, MCAS Cherry Point (PRLI 0001), NC 28533-5040. Delivery is 2 each 100 days after contract award. This item is restricted to Genie Industries, INC, Cage Code: 59497. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Any manufacturer, other than the approved source, who will like to submit a proposal on this item, must submit a completed Source Approval Request (SAR) package to DLA Aviation.
