Full Description

This announcement serves as a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE required under FAR 5.201. This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a pre-fabricated metal building that the selected contractor will design, fabricate and install at the project site. All work under this contract shall be completed in accordance with the statement of work, contract drawings and specifications. The contractor is expected to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services not identified as Government Furnished Property and Services. The desired delivery date is 180 calendar days after award of the contract. Proposals submitted will be required to remain valid for a period of 90 days. This will be a commercial acquisition accomplished in accordance with FAR Parts 12, 15, and 19. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition circular (FAC) 2005-54, Effective 02 Dec 2011; DFARS Parts current to 22 Feb 2011; and AFFARS Parts current thru AFAC 2011-0214, effective Feb 14, 2011. This solicitation will be issued under The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 332311 and will be set aside for SBA registered 8(a) vendors. All responsible 8(a) SBA registered businesses may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. Note: Funds are not currently available for this acquisition. Award shall only be made contingent upon funds being made available. The solicitation is anticipated to be released 30 January 2012. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation, notices, and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at www.fedbizzops.gov website. ONCE THE SOLICITATION IS POSTED TO "FEDBIZZOPS", IT IS INCUMBENT UPON ALL INTERESTED PARTIES TO REVIEW THE AFOREMENTIONED SITE REGULARLY FOR ANY UPDATES/AMENDMENTS TO ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS. IAW DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.204-7007, all prospective offerors interested in submitting proposals must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code), be registered in Online Representations and Certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx, and the Central Contractor Registration Data Base (CCR) at www.ccr.gov . This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, it does not restrict the government to its acquisition approach, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation cost.
