NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Blount Island Command Contracting Office, Jacksonville, FL 32226 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a modification to KBRwyle, 6200 Flagship Cir, Jacksonville FL 32226 (Cage Code: 1C8P3) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements during the extension of services of contract M67004-09-D-0020. KBRwyle will provide continued support for the following functional areas within the P&MCLS program: core tasks that include attaining/maintaining the Navy and Marine Corps Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) Program, and aspects of the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program - Norway (MCPP-N); and Other Logistics Services (OLS) that are associated with emerging crisis response operations utilizing prepositioning material (i.e., Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Augmentation Program - Kuwait (MAP-K), reset, etc.). No change to the existing ordering period is required, which ends 31 March 2019. Sufficient ceiling currently exists for contract execution and performance through 30 September 2018; however, the request for increase in ceiling is needed for issuing task orders during the ordering period of 1 October 2018 through 31 March 2019 in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services and FAR 37.111 Extension of Services. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
