Press Brake

This is a sources sought notice issued by the 81st Contracting Squadron at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, to conduct market research for the procurement of an industrial hydraulic press brake, with no current funding available and no commitment to issue a solicitation. The Government is seeking information from potential suppliers to determine the availability of capable vendors who can deliver, install, and provide initial training for a single press brake configured as "Brand Name or Equal" to the AMADA HRB 8025, with minimum specifications including 88 tons of press capacity, a 102-inch bending bed, and a 3D-graphical CNC touchscreen controller with an 18-inch display. The equipment must be delivered FOB Destination to Building 3916 at Keesler AFB, where the facility has a loading dock but no forklift or off-loading equipment, requiring the vendor to provide full turn-key installation including off-loading, rigging, leveling, and full electrical and hydraulic commissioning. Additionally, the contractor must supply a minimum of two days of on-site operational and safety training for up to four technicians during normal 81 TRSS duty hours, Monday through Thursday from 6:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., excluding the 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. lunch period and federal holidays, and must provide a one-year comprehensive OEM warranty covering parts, labor, and travel. Respondents must submit company information including CAGE code, size status, ownership details, and a written certification of their ability to meet all stated requirements, along with any supporting product literature and disclosure of Federal Supply Schedule availability. All responses must be submitted via email by 10:00 a.m. CDT on July 8, 2026, to the designated contracting specialists, with no obligation on the part of the Government to reimburse any costs incurred in preparing responses. This notice is strictly for market research purposes, does not constitute a solicitation, and no award will be made until funds are appropriated, with the Government retaining full discretion to cancel the effort at any time without financial liability to respondents.
