NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF Waters Manufactured Mass Spectrometry Systems. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The US Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846; has a requirement to procure the following service: The Edgewood Chemical Biological Center requires yearly full-service preventative maintenance support, on-site repairs, software updates, online technical support, and telephone assistance to resolve technical issues for Waters Technology manufactured equipment. This a non-personal services contract to provide routine preventative maintenance and as needed for Waters equipment. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Waters Technologies Corporation, 34 Maple Street, Milford, MA 01757. Waters is the previous contract holder and due to the continued need for the maintenance and support services for the mission essential routine preventive maintenance and as- needed repair of the equipment, and associated peripherals, has been deemed critical. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and the Business Size Standard is $20.5M. All responses received within five businesses (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
