Full Description

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby give notice of an intent to award a sole source contract to Ex Libris (USA) Inc, 1350 E Touhy Ave STE 200 E, Des Plaines IL 60018-3307, NAICS 511210, 25.0 million dollars. As implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed action is for support and maintenance for Primo, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Ex Libris (USA) Inc. on a sole source basis due to the fact that Ex Libris, Inc. is the sole provider of services for Primo. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Capability statements received by the response date of this announcement may be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Ex Libris (USA) Inc., will provide the following: Base Year CLIN 0001: Primo annual maintenance for 9/30/2014 to 9/29/2015 (Qty 4 ea) Option Year One CLIN 1001: Primo annual maintenance for 9/30/2015 to 9/29/2016 (Qty 4 ea) Option Year Two CLIN 2001: Primo annual maintenance for 9/30/2016 to 9/29/2017 (Qty 4 ea) Firms responding to this notice are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company's full name, business size, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not the items can be provided the government is seeking. Final responses to this will be due on 1pm, Central Standard Time (CST), on 16 July 2014. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such.
