This announcement, and its attachments, constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The USSS intends to issue one Firm Fixed Price contract. UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICE intends to award a BRAND NAME contract for: 1. 2 two (2) Smiths Detection Hi-Scan X-ray machines, a. 6046Si Single View X-Ray Inspection System w/ roller table b. 7555si Single View X-ray Inspection System w/ roller table 2. Hi-Scan advanced Software Package, 3. Installation of both machines 4. Upgrade standard one-year warranty of both machines to Smith's Detection on-site Priority one-year service agreement 5. Removal/Disposal of existing machine In order to maintain operations, the contractor shall perform routine maintenance, repairs as needed if a unit breaks, and radiation leak testing.
