PRODUCTION LOT TESTING

This contract, identified as SPE4A1-26-T-2421, requires the supplier to deliver 32 units of NSN 0001S00000061 with a delivery timeframe of 560 days after award. First article testing is mandatory for Item 3040/10871606, with the contractor obligated to test one unit and submit a formal test report within 120 calendar days of contract award. Written notice must be provided to the Contracting Officer and Quality Assurance Representative at least 14 calendar days before shipping the tested unit for government acceptance. The government will review the report and issue written approval, conditional approval, or disapproval within 30 days of receipt. Production lot testing follows first article approval, during which the Quality Assurance Representative will randomly select one sample from the production batch for destructive or consumptive evaluation. The contractor must price the production lot testing line item to cover the cost of consumed samples. Samples must be shipped to RTTC Redstone, marked clearly as production lot samples and accompanied by detailed documentation including signed DD Forms 1222 and 250, test results, material certifications, process sheets, and manufacturing drawings with proprietary markings preserved. A prepaid return label must be included to facilitate shipment back to the contractor at no cost to the government. All shipments require traceable transportation and must comply with MIL STD 129 labeling standards. Government testing may take up to 180 calendar days, combining a 90-day testing period and a 90-day review period. The solicitation excludes fast pay provisions, and suppliers must provide certification of current dealer or distributor accreditation.
