The Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with the Center for Creative Leadership, for tuition fees for a Leadership Development Course. The program is a three week course scheduled for various dates in fiscal year 2008, July 14th-September 19th, . The staff members who are planning to attend will be entering the 3rd phase of a mandatory Bureau of Prisons leadership development course. The contractor will be able to maintain the continuity of the program due to the services being performed for other staff members and other phases of the leadership development program.. The statutory authority is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The applicable NAICS code is 611430 (Professional And Management Development Training). Interested parties may identify their interest and must provide evidence of their capability to respond to this requirement by the close of business, EST, July 3, 2008. Any interested party must be able to supply the government with developmental training to keep continuity with the other Bureau of Prison's developmental training programs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
