Professional Geotechnical, Material Testing, and Construction Inspection Services City Project No. 801 0102

The City of Moreno Valley desires to select one (1) firm through this Request for Proposal (RFP) process to perform professional Geotechnical, Material Testing, and Construction Inspection Services for one (1) construction project: Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation Program FY 24/25 Project No. 801 0102. The Citywide Pavement Rehabilitation Project provides pavement rehabilitation and preservation for approximately 230 local and arterial streets. The selected Consultant must provide experienced personnel available for assignments with a proven track record as it relates to all activities of public works construction. Required services include geotechnical, material testing, and construction inspection services carried out by staff specifically trained in geotechnical and construction inspection work required for these projects.You are hereby invited to submit a proposal for providing Professional Consultant Geotechnical, Material Testing, and Construction Inspection Services including, but not limited to: Contract Documents review, performing compaction testing on subgrade, production testing of slurry seal, HMA/ARHM and PCC, performing deputy full street construction inspection under the direction and in place of City senior inspector, and preparing daily field reports. By submitting a proposal to this RFP, the consultant agrees to abide by any proposal or work deadlines required by the City, and consultant agrees that failure to meet such deadlines, or failure to respond to project solicitations may result in termination of consultant’s contract.Each bidder is hereby informed that proposals and its contents are subject to disclosure in accordance with the California Public Records Act (California Government Code Sections 7920 et seq.).
