Professional Services - Re-Accreditation Services

The City of Zephyrhills is soliciting qualifications for professional services to assist the Zephyrhills Police Department in achieving re-accreditation through the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA). The selected firm or consultant will provide comprehensive support, including conducting facility inspections to identify non-compliance, reviewing policies and procedures within the Power DMS system, managing record retention, and providing staff training. A critical requirement is that the project team must be located within the greater Tampa Bay region, no more than 100 miles from Zephyrhills, and must be present for all onsite inspections conducted by CFA officials. The selection process involves ranking vendors based on their qualifications, project team experience, and management plans, with a short list of three firms invited for interviews. The City will negotiate with the top-ranked vendor first. Contractual requirements include a minimum insurance policy limit of $1,000,000 combined single limits, compliance with the Civil Rights Act of 1968 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, and adherence to Florida Statutes regarding public records and indemnification.
