THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION. THIS IS A MARKET RESEARCH TOOL TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF SOURCES PRIOR TO ISSUING THE RFP. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY.
The information below is provided to support NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center – Puget Sound (FLC-PS) in conducting market research to identify potential businesses with current, relevant capability to provide Professional Support Services in support of SRF-JRMC in JAPAN.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this contemplated competitive procurement is 561990, with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
It is requested that interested businesses capable of providing the Professional Support Services sought submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating the ability to perform per the attached contract specifications. The capability package must be complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the firm’s qualifications to perform the defined work. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources because of this synopsis. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the evaluation.
A. The documentation shall address, at a minimum, the following:
1) Name and address of firm
2) Data Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number
3) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code number
4) Year firm was established and number of employees,
5) Name of two principles to contact, including title, email address and telephone number
6) Identify firms SBA Socioeconomic status
7) Identify if firm is a certified offeror in SeaPort. Provide contract number for any current or previous MAC/IDIQ awards issued in SeaPort.
8) Provide confirmation the firm has capability to perform in Japan.
B. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE in performing efforts of similar scope and complexity. The following Government or commercial information shall be provided for each of your relevant experiences:
1) Contract number and project title
2) Name of contracting activity
3) Primary Point of Contact for the project (e.g., Administrative Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer’s Representative, or Technical Representative). Provide name, telephone number and email address for point of contact.
4) Indication of whether your firm acted as the prime contractor or was a subcontractor.
5) Contract period of performance and contract value.
6) Brief summary of work performed and how it related to the ocean and river towing services sought by this Request for Information.
