NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 18th Contracting Squadron (18 CONS/PKA) intends to award a Sole Source contract to Global-LG, LLC, 5857 Owens Ave, Ste 300, Carlsbad, CA, 92008 for XRIT Earth Stations P/N LG-XRIT. See attached Single Source Justification. 18 CONS/PKA will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and Other than Full and Open Competition. The authority soliciting a single source under SAP is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting Competition, which states that the contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. In accordance with FAR 5.102, the required justification documentation is attached. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 10:00AM, J.S.T, 5 September 2023 via email to contact@example.gov and contact@example.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government, This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.
