Full Description

NA This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Amerenue, 1901 Chouteau Ave, St Louis, Missouri 63103. Amerenue has been identified as having sole expertise in providing electrical service. The proposed contract covers all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and travel costs to provide 15 KV primary electrical service to power a river pump station on the Mississippi River at the Columbia Bottom Conservation Area. Existing power is adjacent to the west side of the Conservation area in the form of overhead lines running parallel to Columbia Bottom Road. Power lines will need to be extended to the east side of the site to a pump station on the bank of the Mississippi River. The distance between the two points is approximately 3 miles. New power line will be 3-phase, number 2 conductor, run underground along the toes of existing levees and dikes to a pad-mounted transformer. The transformer will step down the voltage to 480, 3-phase to run the pumps. This is not a formal solicitation. Thi s synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any response to t his notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government for future procurements. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
