Full Description

The Boeing Company is the original equipment manufacturer of the F-18 C/D. The Boeing Company is the only company that has the requisite knowledge, sufficient technical data, drawings, software and trained technical personnel to provide these items. The drawings for the PSE items have not transitioned to the Navy to support a competitive acquisition. It is likely that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of costs, and it is not expected that they would be recovered through competition at this time. As a result, The Boeing Company is the sole source that can complete the requirements at this time.
