Full Description

The City currently owns and operates public EV charging stations at St. Helena’s City Hall (1088 College Avenue, St. Helena, CA). These stations provide six (6), Level-2 charging stations and take advantage of Tesla hardware (the City does not currently monetize these chargers). In most cases these charging stations are fully occupied by City vehicles, staff, and the community indicating the need for more public charging stations throughout St. Helena. This project will expand the City’s availability of public charging stations at parks and public parking lots with the intent of incentivizing the switch to EVs and/or making it easier for residents and visitors to find a publicly available EV charger for their existing EV.A single firm/proposer may provide an RFP for all services or a team of independent firms/proposers may submit proposals for a specific area of expertise (e.g. design, construction, management).
