The Public Services Building was originally built in 1988, consisting of two perpendicular three story wings (north and south), a basement below the north wing, and a single level auditorium to the west of the north wing. In 2019, the building underwent seismic upgrades, as well as significant improvements to electrical and mechanical systems. The building houses key public services such as Vital Records, Assessment and Taxation, Building Services, Health and Human Services, Finance and Emergency Medical Services.
