This requirement is for non-commercial item. The contractor shall provide the following item: Pulse Transformer PN: 593R343A01 Quantity: 7 each Manufactured by: Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. This announce constitutes the synopsis only; a proposal is requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) FA8571-16-T-0022. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are that in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88, effective 16 May 2016, NAICS Code is 339999 and business size is 500 employees. Place of Performance/FOB Robins AFB Georgia. This requirement is sole source to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, 1580A W. Nursery Rd., Linthicum Heights MD 21090-2202, (Cage Code 97942). Justification for sole source: Pulse Tranformers are part of the Floating Deck Pulser Driver Board Assemblies CCA which is required for the support of the E-3 Aircraft and used in conjunction with the AN/APY-1 and AN/AP-2 Radar Systems. Northrop Grumman Corporation is the OEM of these Pulse Transformers, Drawing 690R501 lists 1 each Pulse Transformer, which is required per each of Floating Deck Pulser Driver Board Assembly CCA. This proposed contract action is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c ) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Or A Limited Number of Responsible Sources And No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thrity days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government that this requirement will not be competed based upon responses to this noticeis solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotatiob which shall be considered by the agency. Foreign participation is not permitted.
