Purchase and Installation Generator

Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and quotes are being requested. This solicitation will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under the solicitation number N3993482310100. The Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS) has a requirement for the engineering, purchase, installation, and periodic scheduled maintenance of a "Standby Generator." APCSS requests that the provider supply and install a turnkey stand by generator system to provide power during Normal Electrical Power Outages to include (at a minimum) the following: 1. New 250KW Diesel Generator with Automatic Transfer Switch. 2. Excavation and Installation of Cement Pad 3. Capped Cyclone Fence Enclosure 4. Minimum 500 MCM Copper Wire to match existing load, conduit, and necessary labor to perform task 5. Remote Enunciator Panel (located in the Facilities Office) 6. Delivery of Fuel (included in accordance with maintenance plan) 7. Start-up and Testing 8. Maintenance Services (oil, air, fuel filters, coolant, etc.) in accordance with manufacturer specifications and attached Statement of Work (SOW) 9. Manufacturer's Standard Warranty This requirement will be set aside as 100% for Small Business HUB-Zone. Offers from other than HUB-Zones will not be considered for this requirement. The applicable NAICS Code is 423610; Standard Size is 100 Employees. It is required that the successful offeror be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website www.ccr.gov Additional Information A Site Visit will take place on Tuesday, September 02, 2008, at 10:00 A.M. (HST), at the Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies, located at 2058 Malaria Road, Honolulu, Hawaii 96815. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the most advantageous to the Government.
