This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N62306-13-T-B005. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-66 and DFARS Changes Notice 20130419. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfars/html/current/252201.htm. The NAICS code is 334511 Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The Small Business size standard is 750 Employees. The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS, intends to issue a sole source, fixed price purchase order to L-3 Communications Klein Associates, Inc., 11 Klein Dr, Salem, NH, 03079-1249, United States. The requirement is for: Purchase of Port and Starboard Transducers and to replace Khz/IXSEA Transducers in accordance with the Statement of Work. L-3 Communications Klein Associates, Inc. is the manufacturer of the specified supplies and hold proprietary rights to the components. The components are not available from a third party.
