This -requirement is for support of the HELICOPTER, BLACK HAWK UH-60A- NSN: 5855-01-380-5102; Eyepiece, Assembly Optical. The RFP will cover requirements for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a 1-year base period and four 1-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued as an Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) Set-Asidel, using full and open competition after exclusion of sources. This is a 1C item; the approved sources are: Harris Corporation, DBA Exelis - CAGE 13567 (L), Edmund Optics, Inc DBA Edmund - CAGE 97197 (L), L3 Technologies, Inc., DBA Insight - CAGE 0B107 (L) , Carson Industries, Inc., - CAGE 1XEP3 (S) and Nivisys, LLC DBA, CAGE 6QUG2 (S) - PN 5009545. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Refer to clause provision 52.217-9002 for submission of Alternate offers. The Estimated Ann-ual Demand Quantity (EAD) is as follows: Base and Option Year EAD: 8,884 each, the total Max Contract Quantity is 44,420 each.
