The Government is seeking a technology enhancement of the Smart Wireless Internal Combustion Engine (SWICE) Kit. The enhancements will support the Army required FIPS 140-2. The currently fielded SWICE product does not employ a FIPS 140-2 validated radio. In accordance with the SWICE Plan of Action and Milestones, PD TMDE plans to field a SWICE replacement named WATS, which will employ a FIPS 140-2 certified Wi-Fi radio. This sources sought is to search for a vendor capable of providing the design and build of 5 WATS prototypes which will employ a FIPS 140-2 certified Wi-Fi radio in accordance with the attached statement of work (SOW).
