NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). THIS IS A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic Systems Contracting Division (AFLCMC/HNCK) hereby gives notice of intent to award a commercial brand named Firm Fixed Price contract as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) soliciting from a brand name to satisfy agency requirements. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is not set aside for Small Business. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 335999, Size Standard, Number of Employees 500. Solicitation FA8307-14-Q-0012 issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66 effective 1 April 2013. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the procurement of Toshiba (Brand Name) Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Model 1600XP. Six (6 each) part number UH3G2L060C61TB8F The vendor shall propose for listed Items to be considered for contract award. The Government intends to make an award by February 2014.
