The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to AXYS, Technologies Inc., Sidney, B.C. Canada under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Thisa requirement is to upgrade and refurbish one (1) GPS Bouy and purchase 2 GPS Bouys in accordance with the Statement of Work. The anticipated contract value is $187,900.00. This action is unrestricted and will be conducted orally in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. NAICS 334519 with business size of 500 employees applies. A firm fixed-price purchase order is anticipated. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer.
