The Centennial Park Sports Complex Tennis Court Renovation Project in Carson City involves replacing eight existing asphalt tennis courts with durable post-tension concrete surfaces, along with necessary fencing modifications, surfacing, striping, and installation of net sleeves. The project also includes constructing an ADA-accessible ramp, removing native vegetation, and improving drainage on the north and east sides of the courts. Two additive alternates are offered: one for replacing a hitting/practice wall and surrounding asphalt with a concrete slab, and another for replacing all nets and posts on the courts instead of reusing the existing equipment. The contractor is responsible for obtaining a Nevada-licensed engineer’s design for the post-tension concrete, securing all required permits, and ensuring site safety and public protection throughout construction. Existing infrastructure such as signage, striping, driveways, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and utilities will be restored or improved to current standards. The project has an engineer’s estimate of approximately $1,062,526 and is classified as a horizontal construction project. Bidding is open until August 15, 2024, with no pre-bid meeting scheduled, and interested parties can contact the designated purchasing administrator for further details.
