Q -- Cardiovascular Scanning Services

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Federal Correctional Complex (FCC Allenwood), located in White Deer and Montgomery, Pennsylvania requires Cardiovascular Scanning services. The Complex comprises four (4) separate institutions, including: United States Penitentiary (USP) Allenwood, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Allenwood, and the Low Security Correctional Institution (LSCI) Allenwood (all of which are located in White Deer, Pa.). The Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Allenwood is located in Montgomery, PA. The Government intends to make a single award for this requirement. The estimated quantity of 60 sessions per institution is for each twelve (12) month period of the contract. One session is equivalent to one ultrasound study. Specific dates and times are to be determined between the Contractor, and the Health Services Administrator. The Contractor's duties will include performing required examinations on patients, and providing the Clinical director with a "wet" reading and the interpretation of such. The services will be performed inside the secure perimeter of each institution. The Contractor will not be responsible for direct inmate management. The performance period will be the base year and four option years. This requirement is restricted to small businesses only. A security investigation/clearance is required. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award.
