As a reminder, proposals are due at 12 noon on March 13, 2008. The primary point of contact for this acquisition will be in travel status the week of March 10 - 14. For questions regarding submission of proposals, please contact Barbara Czerw at Barbara.E.Czerw@irs.gov or (202) 283-1103. Final Round of Questions and Answers: Q. In going over the protocols, I noticed that the chart in Section 4.2 does not list any blood work to be done for the Annual Physical Fitness Screenings. However Section 4.6 lists ?blood work for a lipid profile and glucose screening.? Which is correct? A. Blood work for a lipid profile and glucose screening is part of the physical fitness screening. Q. Is there any chance the subject solicitation proposal due date will be extended past March 13? A. The Government is unable to offer an extension. Q. Also, can you provide any additional direction regarding the direct labor pricing? For example, is it only acceptable to provide hourly rates per health care provider type, X dollars per hour for a physician? Alternatively, would it be acceptable to provide a blended hourly rate which takes into account all health care provider types? Would the Government accept a fee per exam model? A. The Government does not intend to restrict the pricing format of offerors in any way. This acquisition is under FAR Part 12 Commercial Acquisition Procedures. As such, the Government requests that offerors use the pricing format normally used for their commercial customers. Q. Can you provide a sample list without personal information for us to use with our scheduling tool? A. The Government does not have such a list. Q. Will/how will this list be provided during the contract? (i.e. email format, fax, a government employee will input this list into our scheduling tool for appointments to be made by us) A. The Government does not have a position as to how this must be accomplished. This particular detail would be worked out upon award of the contract.
