Full Description

Under the authority of FAR 13.5, the U.S. Army, REDCOM, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase order to Quantel-USA, Inc. 601 Haggerty LN, Bozeman, MT 59715. This is for the purchase of one (1) Q-switch pulsed ND:YAG laser system, Requirments: 850 mJ at 1064nm, 10Hz operation, pulse width between 4-6ns, spatial profile ( fit to gaussian) at least .7 in the near field and at least .9 in the far field, Q-switch external remote control through RS232 interface or remote control, single pulse extraction. (1) Second Harmonic Generation Module ( doubler) at least 400mJ at 532nm, pulse width between 3-5ns, includes removable beam dump. (1) Variable attenuator: attenuates 1064 energy prior to harmonic smodules. This item is being purchased for the Natick Soldier System Centers WARSTAR organization due to the need for a new laser for the SITE program.
