The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System anticipates awarding a sole source procurement to Fisher Healthcare Scientific for a 3-year reagent agreement where the equipment is placed at no charge and the following items are provided: (1)25t/pk VerifyNow Aspirin Test; (2) 25t/pk VerifyNow P2712 Test; (3) 25t/pk VerifyNow IIb/IIIa; (4) 6 controls/kit VerifyNow Controls; and (5) Printer paper. NAICS Code # 424210 applies to this procurement. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Order is to be delivered to Bay Pines VA Healthcare System at Building 100, Warehouse, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines FL 33744. No solicitation will be issued, however, all quotations received on or before 4:00 PM, EST, February 6, 2009, will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is on or before February 27, 2008.
