THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. In accordance with FAR subpart 13.5 and 41 U.S.C. 1901, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of the Treasury Common Services Center (TCSC) on behalf of its Office of Quality Operations intends to award a sole source contract to Authentix, Inc. for Quality Evaluation Detectors (QED) Preventative and Remedial Maintenance Service.  Authentix Inc. is the sole-source provider of all services related to the Quality Evaluation Detector (QED). Because the systems are proprietary and require access to classified information for proper servicing, Authentix does not engage third-party vendors to perform system-level services. The anticipated Period of Performance is for one (1) twelve-month base period and four (4) twelve-month option periods. The places of performance will be performed at the contractor's repair depot location. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation will not be posted. To be considered, responses must be received NO LATER THAN 4:00PM EST, November 14, 2026. Additionally, interested sources must be registered and currently active in the System for Award Management (SAM), found at https://www.sam.gov. Responses MUST be submitted within the closing date/time of publication of this notice. Point of Contact regarding this notice is Contracting Officer Laqulla Williams, at contact@example.gov.
