R -- Combatting Trafficking in Persons in Albania

USAID/Albania intends to modify an existing contract with Creative Associates, Inc., originally awarded to combat trafficking in women and children by enhancing the capacity of civil society and government entities. The proposed modification seeks to extend the contract by 24 months with an estimated additional cost of $3 million. This extension aims to promote sustainable anti-trafficking initiatives within the government and non-governmental sectors, close information gaps, and provide long-term technical assistance to both NGO and governmental service providers involved in combating trafficking. The modification is planned under a less than full and open competition approach, allowing Creative Associates, Inc. to continue providing these specialized services. However, interested parties are invited to express interest and capability to meet the requirements or submit proposals within 30 days of the announcement. The government's decision to conduct a competitive procurement will be based on the responses received and is solely at its discretion. The contract, tracked under solicitation number 182-06-002, is managed by USAID's office based in Sarajevo, with designated contracting officers available for contact regarding this procurement.
