AI Contract Overview

Three indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts awarded in early 2004 to DynCorp International LLC, Civilian Police International LLC, and a joint venture of PAE Government Services Inc. and Homeland Security Corp provide services and supplies supporting the U.S. Department of State’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs office. These contracts align with Presidential Decision Directive 71, focusing on strengthening criminal justice systems in support of international peace operations and complex security missions. Originally, each contract had a maximum value of $400 million per base and option year, covering a total potential value across five years. The contract modification aims to substantially increase the maximum value for each year, raising the amount to $5 billion per base and option year. This adjustment reflects the government's intent to expand the scope and funding available under these contracts without issuing a new solicitation or request for proposals. Questions related to the modification can be directed to Contract Specialists Brian M. Carper and Michael A. Larson at the Department of State.
