R -- Environmental Compliance with CAFTA

USAID/Honduras plans to continue the Conservation of Resources and Improved Market Access, Cleaner Use and Production Program through a modification to the existing contract with International Resources Group (IRG), originally awarded in September 2004. The modification was initially estimated at $1.8 million and publicized in November 2006; however, USAID now anticipates an additional $2.0 million to enhance the contract's outcomes. Subject to available funding, the total estimated cost after this modification is expected to reach $15,359,030. This contract supports environmental compliance efforts in relation to CAFTA and falls under NAICS code 541620. No new proposals or solicitations will be requested for this modification, as this notice serves only to inform and comply with FAR 5.201 requirements. The contract is managed out of the USAID office in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, with Karla P Oviedo acting as the contract specialist and point of contact.
