R -- Mail and Courier Processing and Delivery Services

The National Institutes of Health, Division Of Support Services (DSS), Mail and Courier Services Branch (MCSB) has a requirement for mail and courierprocessing and delivery services. These services include receipt, sortation, preparation and delivery of incoming U.S. Postal Service (UPS) mail to the entire National Institutes of Health, which includes approximately 98 Buildings on the Bethesda Campus and other locations in nearby Bethesda and Rockville. Preparation of outgoing mail for the USPS and other carriers (such as UPS, FedEx, etc.); receipt, sortation, preparation and delivery of inter-office mail to NIH facilities; distribution of flyers, memoranda, catalogs, publications and other printed products from the NIH printing facility to designated groups and other incidental tasks associated with mail and other carrier services. The contract term will be for one (1) base year with and four (4) one (1) year option periods. This requirement has been set-aside for the SBA 8(a) program. The NACIS code is 561210, facilities support services with a size standard of $5 million.
