The Office municipal d'habitation (OMH) de Laval is seeking a licensed contractor to provide and install cabinetry for kitchens and bathrooms in an eight-story residential building located at 270 boulevard Cartier Ouest. This building, constructed in 1979, houses 103 senior apartments. The renovation project involves a major overhaul of the units alongside the replacement of drainage columns. The work is planned to be carried out in phases within an occupied building, requiring careful tenant relocation organized in coordination with OMH. Phases 4 and 5 specifically cover the renovation of cabinetry and drainage columns in designated apartment clusters, totaling 70 units with phase 4 addressing columns 13, 14, 22, 23, and 24, and phase 5 covering columns 10 through 12 and 15 and 16. The solicitation, issued on April 20, 2026, by the federal government agency, OMH de Laval, calls for responses by April 24, 2026. The contractor must hold necessary permits to operate in Quebec and is responsible for managing the work in an orderly sequence, ensuring minimal disruption to residents during relocations. The project follows the completion of earlier phases delivered by March 2026 and continues the comprehensive renovation initiative aimed at upgrading the building’s infrastructure and living conditions for its senior occupants.
