THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE IS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION REGARDING A CHANGE IN THE NAICS CODE FROM 541330- ENGINEERING SERVICES TO 541710- RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE PHYSICAL, ENGINEERING, AND LIFE SCIENCES. THE SIZE STANDARD FOR THIS NAICS CODE IS 500 EMPLOYEES. IT IS OUR DETERMINATION THAT THE NAICS CODE 541710 IS A BETTER REPRESENTATION OF THE REQUIREMENT SYNOPSIZED IN THE PREVIOUS NOTICE.
