The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) intends to award multiple regional contracts to provide assistance that may consist of a combination of direct technical assistance, including intensive on-site assistance; Peer-to-Peer assistance; data collection and telephone assistance in support of the Youthbuild program. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, but by law, contract awards for this type of effort must be made to either qualified public nonprofit entities or private nonprofit entities. The multiple awards will be made roughly along the same jurisdictional boundary of HUD's Regional Offices. Each contract will have a base period of one (1) year, and one (1) one-year option period. The Request for Proposals will be issued on or about February 20, 2003. The closing date for receipt of offers will be on or about March 24, 2003. HUD posts all required notices of its contracting opportunities on its Internet Home Page Contracting Opportunities site at http://www.hud.gov/offices/cpo/contract.cfm. No secondary requests for solicitation packages will be entertained. Written, faxed, or telephone requests for solicitations will NOT be accepted. Interested sources can also register to receive electronic notification for pre-solicitation notices, solicitation, and amendments by clicking on the Notification Registration link on the FedBizOpps home page at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
