The Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Procurement Operations is seeking industry feedback through a Request for Information (RFI) to support a forthcoming acquisition for program management, training, and communication services related to the Protected Critical Infrastructure Information (PCII) Program. This initiative aims to continue the work of the current contract awarded to Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. in 2006. The Government is looking for expert input on the draft Statement of Work, which outlines requirements in four key areas: procedures and practices, training and accreditation, communication and outreach, and program office operations support. Information gathered from this RFI will help finalize the subsequent Request for Proposal, but the Government will not reimburse respondents or treat responses as binding offers. Interested parties are invited to provide comments limited to five pages, including company contact information, by October 18, 2007. All submissions will become government property and should be emailed to the designated point of contact. The RFI is strictly for planning and information gathering with no promise of contract awards or reimbursement. The project is tied to mandates under the Critical Infrastructure Information Act of 2002 and seeks to enhance support for the PCII Program Office in fulfilling its mission to protect critical infrastructure data.
