R -- Thrift Examination Services

The Office of Thrift Supervision intends to issue a sole source modification to Purchase Order TOTSD05P00050 with Mark A. Wunch, P.O. 297, Rahway, NJ 07065. The proposed modification is for on-going community reinvestment act and consumer compliance examination services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all written proposals received by 2:00 P.M.,May 9, 2005 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The period of performance for this sole source modification will be date of award through September 30, 2005. Oral questions and proposals will not be accepted.
